"The novel, The Room was very inspiring. Forgiveness can be a deal-breaker in each and every one of our lives. There are tons of scriptures supporting clarity on "Forgiveness" in this novel.
I, personally have been hurt by family members and church members, that I did not want to forgive. Not even being aware that I was holding on to the hurt by reliving it through my thoughts, and words. I kept giving that hurt LIFE!!!
Yes, life does hurt sometimes, but something that the author, Mr. Gerald Anderson, Sr. stated at the end of the novel (that can be found during "The Final Judgement- What Is It) The author sums up the character, Marquis painful moments in his life. Mr. Anderson (the author) stated something very powerful, now although the author was referring to the character, Marquis. I believe that at some point in all our lives, we as God's children have known this to be true.
Mr. Anderson said that we can serve God for a long period of time or for many, many years, but when life happens and we are hurt by life circumstances, we sometimes pull away from God instead of pulling towards God, and what we fell to realized is that God never moved, WE DID!!!
GOD is full of LOVE AND GRACE, he is always extending his hands out towards us, but when we pull away from him, then we are allowing the enemy in our lives and sometimes even in our hearts, and this causes a division between us and God.
Wow! Pretty Powerful!!!
